Internship opportunities at InMind
Internship opportunities are available between October 15 to June 20 th . PG level students from Psychology, social work, Biostatistics, and Psychiatry can apply for internships. Please note that placements are limited in numbers and are released on a first come first served basis throughout the year.
Between June 20 and October 10, Oxford University Interns are at InMind and no other internships are offered during this period. Only exception is biostatistics interns.
Internship opportunities are available ONLY to post graduate students from institutions that have
Memorandum of Association (MoU) with InMind. MoU ensures institutional level collaboration
and communication that are essential to ensure high standards of engagement from interns
and successful completion of learning outcomes. Students are requested to check MoU status
with their academic departments before contacting InMind. Heads of departments can initiate
this by mailing inmindthrissur@gmail.com and MoU can be signed without delay.
All interns must complete selected online courses offered by InMind and partner charity ‘ OpenMind’ prior to the start of the placement. Courses currently offered include SPOT (Suicide Prevention online Training- certificate jointly offered by faculties from InMind and Cambridge University ), Mental Health Law Course, STOP ( Stigma Training Online Program) and U.Me ( Crisis Listening Course). Once internship is offered, prospective interns are to complete the courses as directed by InMind’s training coordinator prior to the start of the internship.
LEARNING PLAN, DAILY PLACEMENT SCHEDULE and PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS documents would be mailed to interns before starting internship.
Kindly note that we DO NOT offer internship that is less than 4 weeks duration. We also do not offer Internships to psychology degree students.
